UNUSA Celebrates 11th Anniversary with Eco-friendly Technology Innovation for Pesantren.

Coinciding with the 11th birthday of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya, UNUSA launched two environmentally friendly innovations, namely Unusa-Water and Unusa-Incenerator. Achmad Syafiuddin as the Head of the Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren as well as the World's Top 2% Scientists released by Elsevier and Stanford University conducted an installation demonstration and explained that this innovation is a real step in improving the quality of life, especially in the pesantren environment. Unusa-Water is designed to purify water from dirty water into water suitable for daily use with a water treatment system that is cheap, easy and available materials around us. While the Unusa-Incenerator aims to provide an effective and environmentally friendly solution in waste management because the burned waste does not emit smoke so it relatively does not pollute the environment.
