Surabaya, 16 August 2024 - Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) through the Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren (CEHP) established a partnership with PT Surya Jaya Perkasa in the program “Clean Water and Waste Management in Pesantren”. The Implementation Arrangement (IA) was signed in Surabaya by Achmad Syafiuddin, Ph.D as Head of CEHP UNUSA and Sarwanto Pawirodiyono as President Director of PT Surya Jaya Perkasa.

The program will last for three years, from 16 August 2024 to 16 August 2027, and aims to improve the quality of sanitation and waste management in the pesantren environment. This collaboration is a concrete step from both parties in supporting the creation of a healthier and more sustainable pesantren environment.
