Mojokerto, September 19, 2024 in the inauguration ceremony attended by pesantren caretaker, Yayasan Dana Sosial Al Falah, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya, and PT Telkom Indonesia, the pesantren caretaker KH Ahsanul Bilal expressed his gratitude for the realization of this program. So far, clean water has been a major problem in the pesantren, and this assistance is expected to improve the welfare of students in carrying out their daily activities.

“Clean water is a very important need, and we are very grateful that this problem can finally be resolved,” said KH Ahsanul Bilal.

Yayasan Dana Sosial Al Falah as a collaborator of this program also expressed its gratitude and pride to be able to work with various parties, including UNUSA which acts as a provider of the UNUSA-Water innovation system.

PT Telkom Indonesia, through its representative Yusuf Budi Mulya, also emphasized the importance of the company's support in programs like this. “This program not only helps the pesantren to progress, but also prevents negative effects that may arise due to interactions between students who lack clean water facilities”.

Meanwhile, UNUSA plays an active role in providing a clean water treatment system “UNUSA-Water” with its main mission being to provide accessible technology, readily available materials in the surrounding environment, and low cost. “We are proud to be able to provide water technology that is environmentally friendly and can be applied in the pesantren environment.

The inauguration of this clean water facility is a tangible manifestation of the synergy between academic, corporate, and social parties in order to improve living standards.
