The Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren (CEHP), once again showed its seriousness in environmental and health issues in the pesantren environment. On October 9, 2024, UNUSA inaugurated Mr. Widyaswendra as CEHP's External Fellows.

This inauguration was carried out as part of UNUSA's commitment to continuously improve the quality of a healthy and sustainable pesantren environment. In the officially signed contract letter, Mr. Widyaswendra, who is also the Corporate Secretary of PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Surabaya, is expected to make a significant contribution in supporting CEHP's mission.

As a corporate professional, Mr. Widyaswendra's involvement demonstrates the synergy between the business and education sectors in addressing environmental issues. UNUSA hopes that through his experience and expertise, he can help drive the development of sustainable environmental programs in the pesantren under CEHP.

Under the five-year contract agreement, Mr. Widyaswendra is expected to participate in the various programs and initiatives that CEHP will initiate, including maintaining a commitment to environmental and health sustainability, and helping to realize UNUSA's overall development.

With this inauguration, it is expected that environmental issues that are often neglected in pesantren can be handled better and have a positive impact on the health of students and the entire pesantren academic community.
