Pamekasan, October 10, 2024 - CEHP UNUSA held training and assistance in making animal feed made from maggot supported by Direktorat Riset, Teknologi, dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi at Pondok Pesantren Bustanul Ulum Pamekasan. This activity involved participants from among the students as well as ustadz who were eager to learn innovations in the field of animal husbandry.

This training aims to provide skills to participants in processing maggot as the main ingredient of animal feed. One of the outputs of this activity is an animal feed product made from maggot which is expected to be able to improve the skills of students in the boarding school environment.

This activity is part of a series of research and community service programs funded by Direktorat Riset, Teknologi, dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi budget year 2024. The handover of various production tools, including grinding machines, was also carried out in this event. The students seemed enthusiastic about this training where they proudly showed off the feed products they had made during the training. This training is expected to continue as a form of Pondok Pesantren Bustanul Ulum's commitment in supporting economic independence and innovation based on pesantren.
