Guest Lecturer with Mr. Kohei Hibino from the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES)

On December 19 2024, the Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren (CEHP) Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya held a Guest Lecturer activity with Mr. Kohei Hibino from the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES). This event discussed the topic "Challenges and Opportunities of Municipal Solid Waste Management in Indonesia and Other Asian Countries" and was attended by Environmental Health students from Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya and the Chair of the LPPM Universitas Islam Madura. This activity aims to increase understanding and awareness regarding waste management at the city level, as well as establishing cooperation between educational institutions in facing environmental challenges.
