CEHP UNUSA together with CT ARSA conducted a location survey and checked water quality in Pabuoan Village, Bogor
On December 27 2024,
the Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren (CEHP) Team at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya, together with CT ARSA
representatives, conducted a location survey and water quality inspection in
Pabuoan Village, RT. 01, RW. 06, Mulyaharja Village, Bogor. This activity was
welcomed by sub-district heads, village heads and local residents, consisting
of 450 heads of families who depend on well water for bathing, washing and
cooking. Survey results show that well water has a fresh taste with a turbidity
level of 5.76 , TDS 80, and pH 6.7. CEHP indicates that the TDS level suitable
for drinking water needs is between 50 – 300 ppm. Therefore, well water at this location can be treated
using the UNUSA-Water
as
water filter to make it suitable for consumption. This
initiative aims to increase community access to clean and healthy water.
