CEHP UNUSA and PT Pegadaian Continue Third Collaboration for Clean Water Supply in East Java Pesantren

The Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren (CEHP) of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) and PT Pegadaian continue their collaboration in the clean water supply program through UNUSA-Water technology. Recent discussions between the two parties have resulted in an implementation plan for clean water supply assistance that will be implemented in two Islamic boarding school locations in East Java. This program is the third collaboration between CEHP UNUSA and PT Pegadaian, marking their continued commitment to improving the quality of life of boarding school communities through access to clean water that is feasible and sustainable.

Through the UNUSA-Water program, water filtration technology developed by CEHP UNUSA will be installed in these pesantrens to overcome water problems that have been an obstacle for students and boarding school administrators. This collaboration not only provides technical facilities, but also includes training and education to the pesantren community so that they are able to manage and maintain clean water systems independently, so that the benefits can be felt sustainably.
