Head of National Development Planning Agency Visits UNUSA, Encourages Environmentally Friendly Innovation Cooperation to Accelerate SDGs

On Tuesday, July 15, the Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Rachmat Pambudy, paid an official visit to Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya (UNUSA). The visit focused on discussing a strategic cooperation plan between Bappenas and UNUSA. During the meeting, Achmad Syafiuddin, Chair of CEHP UNUSA, presented a number of innovations and leading products developed by the university, one of which was UNUSA-Mobile. He explained in detail the functions and working mechanisms of this tool, which is designed to provide effective solutions in the field of environmental management. The product that attracted the most attention from the Head of Bappenas was UNUSA-Incinerator, an innovative device that can burn waste without producing smoke, making it very environmentally friendly and capable of managing waste efficiently and cleanly. The advantages of this device are expected to contribute significantly to sustainable waste management efforts, while accelerating the achievement of SDGs, particularly in the aspects of environmental management and public health. Through this collaboration, both institutions are committed to continuing to promote the development of technology and innovation oriented towards sustainability and social welfare.
