Pesantren Jabal Noer Received Benefits from UNUSA-Water's Clean Water Installation

The Pesantren Jabal Noer, located in Geluran Village, Taman, Sidoarjo, received a clean water treatment plant from PT Telkom in collaboration with Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA). The official handover ceremony took place at the Pesantren Jabal Noer. Present at the event were H. Moch Su'eb, Chairman of the Nur Sedekah Umat (YNSU) Social Foundation, Achmad Syafiuddin, Chairman of the Center for Environmental Health of Pesantren (CEHP) at UNUSA, and H. Samsurizal Aruni, General Manager of PT Telkom's East Java Telkom Regional Office. They were received and accompanied during the handover process by KH Misbahuddin, Head of the Pesantren Jabal Noer (Islamic Boarding School).

In terms of this assistance, UNUSA is the inventor of the technological idea and the copyright holder, PT Telkom Witel East Java is the funder through TJSL (Social and Environmental Responsibility—formerly known as CSR), and YNSU is the fund distributor. Kyai Misbah, the caretaker of the Pesantren Jabal Noer, was visibly delighted upon receiving the Rp 50 million donation. He stated that the assistance would significantly improve the quality of life of the students under his care, starting with their daily health, as the water quality would be better guaranteed.
